A lover of all things coffee, handmade, and old school.

Growing up in Montana has afforded me so many opportunities to get out and explore the scenery that surrounds us. I was born and raised in Helena, MT, but I discovered my love for Bozeman after I moved here in 2016 to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography with an English Writing minor and a Certificate of Business. I graduated in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, and though it’s certainly not what I had pictured, it all worked out better than I could have hoped for. After deciding one degree wasn’t enough, I graduated with an Associates in Interior Design and am working full-time as an interior designer here in Bozeman. When I’m not holding a camera, you can find me hanging with my pup Baker, making a craft of some kind, slinging beers at Shine Beer Sanctuary, or wandering an antique store. Things I love: breakfast foods, vanilla americanos, Flathead Lake, dogs (mine and others), craft beers, and film. A few of the things I’m passionate about capturing include couples, weddings, and seniors, but I’m always game to try something new. My focus is on creating images that capture more than a smile and a pretty background, and will live on your walls and in your home for years to come. If you think we’d be a good match, please reach out to me with inquiries, questions, dreams, or anything else on my Contact page, or shoot me an email at hello@marynickolphoto.com. I am so excited to work with you!
